Anthony David Gonzalez played American football for 17 seasons, as tight-ends within the National Football League. Gonzalez is considered to be one of the best tight ends of all time. In addition to being the NFL's leader for receiving yards, as well as the third in total receptions, Gonzalez was the NFL tight end who had the highest number of receptions.
The former Kansas City Chiefs and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez currently serves as an FOX Sports studio analyst. Gonzalez has been a regular guest show on FOX NFL KICKOFF since the NFL's 2017 season. The hour-long pregame show is a precursor to FOX NFL Sunday on Sundays starting at 11 am ET in the NFL Season.
On March 15th, 2013, Gonzalez agreed to re-sign to the Falcons for a 2-year, $14 million contract despite claiming that he would be retiring after the 2013 season. Randy Moss announced his retirement in 2012 and Gonzalez (37 an age) was the an NFL's most prolific receiver.
